“I just wanted to send a big thank you to you and the folks and Woody and Sons. After repeated delays and last minute rescheduling, you were able to squeeze me in at the last minute to make our move happen. As a scheduling manager, I know those last minute changes are no fun, but you were professional, accommodating, and very courteous with every call.
The movers arrived on time and were very polite, professional, and eager to assist. They had the piano and safe loaded in minutes. Most impressive was when they pointed out that there was a minimum 3 hour charge and then offered to help unload another truck that I had packed! They could’ve just delivered the two items that they were supposed to, charged me that minimum charge and left, but these guys got right to work and helped me with my other items! It was a 24′ truck filled to the top, and they did it quickly, professionally, and without a single ding, scratch, or blemish. I apologize for not knowing their names but they were incredible. I can’t say enough good things about them. I used to move furniture back in my younger days and I know what a tough job it is…..and they made it look easy! On those heavy items, they moved as a team with no confusion or guesswork. Each one knew what they should be doing and what the other guy was doing.
I can promise you that I will be referring every person that i know that is moving to you guys!”

We hired 4 men for this job because it was going into a 3 bedrm in a 3 floor walk up. The guys were great! Everyone was friendly and helpful. They were there at 6 am. They worked straight through until 11 am. There were no breaks, no one complained about the 3 flights of stairs. I was more concerned than they were! They took apart everything, wrapped everything like it was theirs, They were quick and efficient. I really couldn’t believe how fast they got the job done. They come HIGHLY recommended by us. They got there on time, immediately started to work. Were very careful with packing and loading all the furniture in the truck. Were very patient when we arrived at the new apartment and had to wait at least 1/2 hr. while I signed the lease and got the keys. When the time came to unload and place everything at the new place I thought, “Oh boy here we go they’ll probably rush everything in and not bother being careful with the furniture and putting it back together correctly”. I WAS WRONG, they were very meticulous about bringing everything in and putting it all together. Thank you guys I’d defenetly use your services again!

Team was very professional and knew their business. They worked very hard and took very few breaks. Nothing was broken and I had two full 26ft truck loads. On the day of my unload, the elevator broke and all the crew had to carry ALL items up five flights of stairs, did not complain one time or slow down one bit. Packed and unpacked some things, filled trucks, stored trucks for 3 days at last minute as my floors were not finished being tiled, unloaded.

Thank you for the professional and courteous move. I must tell you it wasn’t easy, this moving experience thing I mean. I’ll admit, you weren’t the 1st mover I contacted, although it should have been. I’m so thankful for that door hanger! You and your company did much to restore my faith in services companies generally. Thankfully you have the good thought to place a door hanger at my door. I was completely frustrated with the movers process. It went from one bad experience to another, they all said one thing but did another. Prices went from $89.00 to $109.00; they tacked on fuel, surcharges, to flights of starts (3rd floor = three flights even though there are only two), etc. You speak to them, have an apparent understanding and then at the 11th hour things change, prices change. Some phone numbers become disconnected, callbacks don’t come. The process is scary. As an aside, my son moved from Florida to New York recently, he trustingly pre-paid for the move in full, it’s months later and he hasn’t seen his belongings or his money. It is a scary business. That is why your company stands out as it does. I’m so grateful. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention your two movers, they were great! If you ever want to use me as a truly satisfied customer, please do so.

Pablo & Michael did a fantastic job for us. They were careful with the pieces, inspected them for us, and put them together to make great looking furniture. (picked up items from a store that we purchased) They worked in very hot conditions but with no complaints. Mike G. is a consummate professional with over 15 years of experience. He surveyed the job and called in two others to speed up the move. I wanted to take the oppotunity to provide you with some feedback on my move Saturday 6/30. I wasn’t all too familiar with using movers and quite frankly the only time I used a big moving company was on my move to Florida. I found you on Angie’s List and figured the reviews were good so I would go ahead and try it.
I was thoroughly impressed with the gentlemen that came to help us move, they were fast and efficient. I can’t remember the drivers name but he was well spoken and explained the whole process, came to me with questions, and was always very attentive to details.
Josh and Darnell were awesome! They were extremely polite and very persobable, especially for that early in the morning. I like to give credit where it is due and will definitely keep your company in mind if for any reason I move again, or recommending to friends and family!

Team was very professional and knew their business. They worked very hard and took very few breaks. Nothing was broken and I had two full 26 ft truck loads. On the day of my unload the elevator broke and the crew had to carry ALL items up five flights of stairs, did not complain one time or slow down one bit! I thought your service was great. The men arrived on time and ready to work. They worked HARD! They also worked quickly which was greatly appreciated given we were paying by the hour.
You were not aware of the 2 other quotes I had for this work… One was a hard quote for the move of $2100. The other quote was for $218/hr, estimated to be $2,000. That’s why I wrote with so many questions… it was hard to imagine that your price could be so much less… But it was. I saved over $900 by using your company.
As well I felt you were honest with me. When I asked you about insurance, you were upfront that things don’t often break but they do break sometimes. You answered all my emails very quickly, you answered my phone calls when I called. There were no surprises.

Many times you meet wonderful people when you are in a very bad situation. Per our telephone conversation regarding my movers/ cleaners, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any moving or cleaning. The movers were very polite and swift, all the time treating my belongings as if they were their own. Sarah (company owner) was not just a phone voice, she actually came to both my home and apartment to make sure things were moving and that things were being done correctly, she also did alot of the cleaning herself.
As you are aware, I have 2 dogs and my son’s puppy. The movers, cleaning personnel and Sarah ALL helped me keep track of my dogs. Not an easy task as one is deaf, one is extremely elderly and ill and one is a small puppy.
Please… if you need good people, use this company. They are worth more than double what they charge. The personal detail they all provided made them feel like family. Although I never want to move again (LOL) you can be assured, I will use them !!

I just want to tell you how absolutely thrilled I am with how this move went. Last year when I moved, I paid twice as much, I had three guys and they didn’t even get it done and had to come back the next day. With the exact same set of furniture, Lorenzo and his cousin whose name I can’t spell did an absolutely fabulous job in 6 1/2 hours. They were careful but fast and they worked like beasts!!! I was very nervous about some of the heavy pieces of furniture making it up three flights of stairs but they kept everything under control and in one piece.. They were polite, friendly and funny and they smiled and laughed the whole time. They deserved a bigger tip than the one I gave them but it was all I had to give, and I hope you give them a little bit of recognition they deserve for a job absolutely brilliantly done!!
Especially at the price I paid I found this to be the best experience I ever had moving, and this is from someone who has had seven houses and two apartments in 12 years!!! Honestly the smoothest move I ever had out of all of those. I will recommend you to everyone and anyone and let them know what a great and affordable experience this was!!Thank you!

I found Sarah and Woody’s moving business through an ad on craigslist. I was in the middle of a last minute move. Sarah helped pull everything together quickly. Woody and his employee showed up on time and worked VERY quickly and efficiently to move everything faster than four or five non professionals could have. They wrapped and covered everything to protect my personal items. I was SO impressed I will be listing them on my website to help others. I highly recommend them and their fee was much less than other companies. They also behaved respectfully to earn my business–which nowadays, most companies don’t seem to care. Needless to say I am exhausted!! I just wanted to thank you so much for everything you did for me. I would not have been able to do this move without you! Also, what a sweetheart Anthony is. He kept everything going and I am telling you none of those kids stopped from the moment they got there. (they didn’t even get lunch, which is why they beat me to the apartments!) They got there at 5 minutes to 7. Have never had such great customer service from anyone in my life! I packed plenty but still had plenty to go. As the guys were loading all the furniture and never ending boxes (my husband had at least 24 boxes of books and office stuff, all very heavy), I continued to pack even more boxes! When the moving of furniture and boxes was slowing down a bit, that Anthony helped me pack up the kitchen. He has a very good gauge of people. He knew that playing tit for tat on being a smart mouth really made me feel at home and every time I would apologize for being in the way or whatever, he would give me his “look.” So please give him kudos and I am going to do a review out on the internet as well. I will tell anyone I know that is moving to use “Woody and Sons” based on my experience!
