We had to be out of our house and store overnight. The guys showed up early and did a great job. They came back the next day to deliver and picked up at another house and delivered that as well. They were working hard all day and never slowed down. Did a great job and would highly recommend.

I wanted to take the oppotunity to provide you with some feedback on my move Saturday 6/30. I wasn’t all too familiar with using movers and quite frankly the only time I used a big moving company was on my move to Florida. I found you on Angie’s List and figured the reviews were good so I would go ahead and try it.
I was thoroughly impressed with the gentlemen that came to help us move, they were fast and efficient. I can’t remember the drivers name but he was well spoken and explained the whole process, came to me with questions, and was always very attentive to details.
Josh and Darnell were awesome! They were extremely polite and very persobable, especially for that early in the morning. I like to give credit where it is due and will definitely keep your company in mind if for any reason I move again, or recommending to friends and family!

Team was very professional and knew their business. They worked very hard and took very few breaks. Nothing was broken and I had two full 26 ft truck loads. On the day of my unload the elevator broke and the crew had to carry ALL items up five flights of stairs, did not complain one time or slow down one bit! Packed and unpacked somethings, filled trucks, stored trucks for 3 days at last minute as my floors were not finished being tiled, unloaded. Would use this company again in future.

I thought your service was great. The men arrived on time and ready to work. They worked HARD! They also worked quickly which was greatly appreciated given we were paying by the hour.
You were not aware of the 2 other quotes I had for this work… One was a hard quote for the move of $2100. The other quote was for $218/hr, estimated to be $2,000. That’s why I wrote with so many questions… it was hard to imagine that your price could be so much less… But it was. I saved over $900 by using your company.
As well I felt you were honest with me. When I asked you about insurance, you were upfront that things don’t often break but they do break sometimes. You answered all my emails very quickly, you answered my phone calls when I called. There were no surprises.

Many times you meet wonderful people when you are in a very bad situation. Per our telephone conversation regarding my movers/ cleaners, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any moving or cleaning. The movers were very polite and swift, all the time treating my belongings as if they were their own. Sarah (company owner) was not just a phone voice, she actually came to both my home and apartment to make sure things were moving and that things were being done correctly, she also did alot of the cleaning herself.
As you are aware, I have 2 dogs and my son’s puppy. The movers, cleaning personnel and Sarah ALL helped me keep track of my dogs. Not an easy task as one is deaf, one is extremely elderly and ill and one is a small puppy.
Please… if you need good people, use this company. They are worth more than double what they charge. The personal detail they all provided made them feel like family. Although I never want to move again (LOL) you can be assured, I will use them !!

I just want to tell you how absolutely thrilled I am with how this move went. Last year when I moved, I paid twice as much, I had three guys and they didn’t even get it done and had to come back the next day. With the exact same set of furniture, Lorenzo and his cousin whose name I can’t spell did an absolutely fabulous job in 6 1/2 hours. They were careful but fast and they worked like beasts!!! I was very nervous about some of the heavy pieces of furniture making it up three flights of stairs but they kept everything under control and in one piece.. They were polite, friendly and funny and they smiled and laughed the whole time. They deserved a bigger tip than the one I gave them but it was all I had to give, and I hope you give them a little bit of recognition they deserve for a job absolutely brilliantly done!!
Especially at the price I paid I found this to be the best experience I ever had moving, and this is from someone who has had seven houses and two apartments in 12 years!!! Honestly the smoothest move I ever had out of all of those. I will recommend you to everyone and anyone and let them know what a great and affordable experience this was!!Thank you!

I originally scheduled the move with another company for Saturday, August 15th, and although I was in contact with the mover that very morning, he no showed and left me in a precarious position, as the furniture needed to be out of the 3rd floor apartment that Sunday, by no later than 5:00 PM. I found Sarah and Woody’s moving business through an ad on craigslist. I was in the middle of a last minute move. Sarah helped pull everything together quickly. Woody and his employee showed up on time and worked VERY quickly and efficiently to move everything faster than four or five non professionals could have. They wrapped and covered everything to protect my personal items. I was SO impressed I will be listing them on my website to help others. I highly recommend them and their fee was much less than other companies. They also behaved respectfully to earn my business–which nowadays, most companies don’t seem to care. Needless to say I am exhausted!! I just wanted to thank you so much for everything you did for me. I would not have been able to do this move without you! Also, what a sweetheart Anthony is. He kept everything going and I am telling you none of those kids stopped from the moment they got there. (they didn’t even get lunch, which is why they beat me to the apartments!) They got there at 5 minutes to 7. Have never had such great customer service from anyone in my life! I packed plenty but still had plenty to go. As the guys were loading all the furniture and never ending boxes (my husband had at least 24 boxes of books and office stuff, all very heavy), I continued to pack even more boxes! When the moving of furniture and boxes was slowing down a bit, that Anthony helped me pack up the kitchen. He has a very good gauge of people. He knew that playing tit for tat on being a smart mouth really made me feel at home and every time I would apologize for being in the way or whatever, he would give me his “look.” So please give him kudos and I am going to do a review out on the internet as well. I will tell anyone I know that is moving to use “Woody and Sons” based on my experience!
